The Rayburn Heatranger can now be combined with Solar Thermal Collectors to enable the sun to provide up to 65% of a home’s hot water needs and achieve fossil fuel savings of up to 60% a year. 

Rayburn has long been concerned with protecting the environment and using natural resources responsibly.  Rayburn Solar Thermal Collectors can be used to augment domestic central heating, hot water and under floor heating systems by capturing the sun’s free energy.  The package enables a Rayburn and a solar collector panel to be connected together in an intelligent home management system that automatically switches between the most effective and sustainable energy source available at the time.

A selection of 12 customised packages are available and have been designed to cater for all fuel types and hosehold heating requirements.  These appropriate packages are specially chosen to work with your Rayburn Cooker, but can also be linked to an Aga stove as well. Each package will typically contain Thermal Collectors, a Cylinder and an Installation Kit. Your installer would be pleased to discuss your requirements and advise which package is ideal for you.  Packages start from around £3,000.
