FUEL CONSUMPTION Rayburns are all about choice and flexibility. Some models are designed to burn continuously and are adjustable between idling and higher burning rates, whilst others are intended to be used as on/off cookers, fully programmable for intermittent use. Therefore it is difficult to generalise on or predict fuel consumption, taking into account the variable factors such as amount of usage and size of heating system etc, which will vary considerably from household to household. The following figures are chosen as typical examples of average fuel consumption and may be of assistance. Figures quoted are approximate over a 24 hour period. Example 1: From our Heatranger (Hot Water model) Rayburns. Rayburn burning continuously. 22 hours slumbering + 2 hours at full burning
rate. Model 212S Model 208K or 308K Model 208G Model 208L Example 2: From the COOKMASTER range. Rayburn on maximum for 2 hours. Off for 22 hours. Cooking only. Models 400K and XT Models 400G and XT Example 3: From our HEATRANGER (central heating models) and TRADITIONAL cooker ranges. Rayburn alight continuously, in typical winter conditions. Model 355M Model 368K Models 480AG(CF) Model 480AL(CF) Example 4: Also from the HEATRANGER (central heating models) cooker range. Rayburn used intermittently, in typical winter conditions. Model 480K Models 480AG (CF) Model 480AL(CF) Note: All metric / imperial conversions are approximate. See also Fuels |
