TURNING YOUR RAYBURN OFF

Models 400K, 400G, 400L & 410K

For Model 410K. During very cold weather, in an otherwise unheated house, consideration should be given to leaving the burner on a low temperature setting, to prevent freezing of the water system.

To turn the cooker OFF for short periods, it is only necessary to turn the thermostat to the OFF position.

During longer periods of non-use, we also recommend that on the oil-fired models, the fuel should be turned OFF at the storage tank or at a convenient service valve external to the Rayburn.

If possible, the electricity supply should remain turned ON to the Rayburn, to retain the programmer/timer memory.
