TURNING YOUR RAYBURN ON
Models 400K, 400G, 400L, 410K
On the 410K model ensure that the water system
is filled before firing the Rayburn
The burner on this Rayburn is fully automatic in
operation, under the control of its own thermostat, timer and if fitted, an
external programmer.


To turn the Rayburn ON,
1. Ensure that the Oil or Gas fuel supply and
electricity is turned ON to the Rayburn.
2. On later models also check that the Flue
Safety Device is reset and pushed in.
3. Open controls door, top left hand side to
reveal Timer and Thermostat, as shown above.
4. Set the Timer to an ON period and turn the
thermostat to the desired temperature.
5. The burner should now fire and remain on until
the desired temperature is reached.
7. If the burner fails to ignite, it will safely
shut down and the Burner Reset Button will illuminate. Wait 3 minutes then push
in the reset button and the burner will attempt another start-up. If the burner
repeatedly goes to lock-out, shut the Rayburn OFF and seek help from your
service engineer.
8. The Timer can perform several functions
viz.
a. Minute Minder
b. Alarm up to 24hrs
c.
automatic cook programme, both start & stop up to 23hr 59 mins
d.
automatic finish at the end of a manually-started cook programme.
The cooker cannot be used until the Timer has
been set to the correct time of day.
To use the cooker in Manual mode, press the
Cooker/Stop Time Button once.
WARNING. If the burner fails to
ignite or operate properly; or the burner repeatedly locks-out; or the flue
safety device button trips; or if there is a smell of gas or oil fumes; or you
are unsure if the cooker has been serviced recently, --- DO NOT USE ---
Have the appliance checked by a qualified engineer.
