Note that on some models the burner and controls may be located on the R.H. side of the cooker. 1. Lift off the inner burner door 'B'. 2. Ensure that cooker control knob 'D' is at the OFF position. 3. Turn on the external gas cock 'E' so that the groove is in line with the pipe and immediately light pilot burner 'F' with a taper. Replace inner door 'B' 4. Wait three minutes then turn control knob 'D' to the required setting, by pushing in whilst turning. The main burner 'C' should light smoothly. Close outer door 'A' 5. When the cooker is not required for use, the control knob 'D' should be set to the low position, leaving the main burner on a low flame rate. WARNING. If the burner fails to ignite or operate properly; or there is a smell of gas or fumes; or you are unsure if the cooker has been serviced recently, --- DO NOT USE --- Have the appliance checked by a qualified engineer. |
