 WEIGHTS

A Rayburn is constructed as a complete assembly, mounted on a solid cast iron or steel base-plate. By its very nature, it is relatively heavy and the hearth or floor on which it rests must be capable of safely carrying the weight.

Remember. The hearth or plinth must be of non-combustible material with a minimum thickness in accordance with the requirements for that particular model of Rayburn. The additional weight of this plinth or hearth must be taken into account.

Approximate weights of current models.
